Melissa Coop is a Senior Leader for Provincial Education with Child Health BC.  She is responsible for leading and promoting excellence in clinical education for CHBC initiatives. 

Melissa received her Nursing Baccalaureate from McMaster University and her Master’s of Nursing from Athabasca University.  Since 2005, she worked clinically at BC Children’s Hospital which laid the foundation for her Nursing career.  At BCCH, she held a variety of Nursing Leadership roles.  Most recently, as part of the C&W Redevelopment Project, she led the education, training, and orientation team to prepare clinical programs for the move into the Teck Acute Care Center.  Prior to this, Melissa played an integral role on the Provincial CHBC team that implemented the Pediatric Early Warning System.
