Our mandate is to bring together partners from the health authorities, the Ministry of Health Services, the Ministry of Children and Family Development, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Healthy Living and Sport and other provincial agencies and services to optimize the health of children and youth and to improve access to high quality clinical health services.
Our vision is the best health for infants, children and youth in BC.
Our mission is to build an integrated and accessible system of care for the purpose of improved health status and health outcomes for BC's children and youth.
In January 2007, the Overwaitea Food Group pledged $20 million to the BC Children's Hospital Foundation for Child Health BC. This generous contribution is the largest single donation ever made to BC Children's Hospital or the Foundation, making the Overwaitea Food Group Child Health BC's lead benefactor.
By supporting Child Health BC you are helping children and families across BC by ensuring they have access to specialized pediatric care in or close to their home communities. Child Health BC is a $50 million initiative that supports the creation of specialized regional clinics, education and training of caregivers, and fosters a network of medical professionals committed to providing a high standard of care to children.
