Child Health BC is dedicated to ensuring children and youth have access to a consistent and high standard of health care, wherever they live in British Columbia.

Our mandate is to bring together partners from the health authorities, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Children and Family Development, and other provincial agencies and services to optimize the health of children and to improve access to clinical health services.

Child Health BC's goal is to build an integrated and accessible system of care for children in BC for the purpose of improving the health status and health outcomes for infants, children and youth in British Columbia.

Through its activities, Child Health BC will improve the:

• health of British Columbia 's children and their families;
• accessibility to appropriate child health care;
• affordability and sustainability of the child health care system, services and resources;
• quality of care provided for children and their families; and
• working environment for child health care providers.
